Ball - Rod Mill

Grinding performed to achieve particle liberation is one of the most critical stages in mineral processing, and ball and rod mills play a key role in this operation. Rod mills are commonly preferred for coarse grinding, while ball mills are widely used in fine and ultra fine grinding processes. Their ability to adapt quickly to different operating parameters and their flexible configuration options make them suitable for a broad range of applications. Ersel ball and rod mills can be supplied either as skid mounted units or concrete mounted installations, depending on customer requirements. The mill bearings and gears are protected against external factors such as dust and mud through sealing systems and protective housings, ensuring long term reliable operation. In applications where product whiteness is essential and iron contamination must be avoided, alumina (ceramic) liner and ball configurations can be offered as a suitable solution.
