Product Description
The dynamic separator is a classification device that separates coarse and fine materials as reject and product. It is widely used in cement, energy, mining, metals, and agricultural industries. The system consists of main components such as rotor, static and vortex blades, casing, and reject box. According to the operating principle, separators can be static or dynamic; according to casing design, they are available in spiral or cylindrical types.
DEG has a strong R&D capability for separator development. A dedicated laboratory in Çorlu enables testing of newly designed machines and modifications of first- and second-generation separators to increase capacity. Designs are developed using ANSYS Blade Design software and advanced CFD/CFX flow simulations to optimize performance.
Key advantages include low power consumption (0.4–0.9 kWh/t product), low pressure drop, efficient rotor utilization, low noise and vibration, ideal Tromp curve, easy maintenance, and cost-effective installation. DEG also designs U-beam separators and cyclones for dust collection, with flow simulations used to evaluate pressure drop and efficiency for different particle sizes.
