Product Description
## Technical Specifications – Double Stage Vacuum Extruder (Vacuum Press)
The Double Stage Vacuum Extruder is designed as a state-of-the-art solution for high-capacity and high-quality brick and roof tile production. The machine combines high mechanical strength, operational reliability, and maximum energy efficiency, making it suitable for continuous heavy-duty operation (24 hours per day, up to 360 days per year).
The design prioritizes ease of operation and maintenance. The upper and lower units are driven by separate heavy-duty gearboxes and independent electric motors, allowing flexible operation and independent start/stop control. When required, the upper unit can be mounted onto the lower unit with a 90° rotation. All wear parts are engineered for fast and easy replacement, minimizing downtime.
### Working Principle
Homogenized clay from the long double-shaft mixer is disintegrated and transferred into the vacuum chamber, where entrapped air is removed to improve plasticity and product quality. The vacuum-treated clay is then compressed by the lower extrusion auger under high pressure to form dense and high-quality finished products. A fixed screen mechanism positioned after the extrusion auger ensures stable material flow and product consistency.
### Mechanical Design
The machine body is manufactured as a welded steel construction, providing high structural rigidity and durability. Both upper and lower sections are equipped with robust gearboxes and are driven by separate electric motors. Pneumatic multi-disc clutch systems are installed to ensure smooth start-up and operational flexibility.
Critical components such as paddles and extrusion augers are manufactured from high-strength cast steel materials to ensure long service life under demanding operating conditions. The drive system is belt-pulley type and fully protected for safe operation.
### Drive & Power
The total installed power requirement is 75 kW + 250 kW (main electric motors can be supplied optionally). The gearbox system is equipped with a pneumatic clutch mechanism to ensure reliable power transmission. The pneumatic air system is included within the scope of supply.
### Materials & Components
The machine body is produced from structural steel, while the main shafts are manufactured from high-strength steel. Wear components such as paddles and augers are made from durable cast steel. Gearbox gears are produced from heat-treated alloy steel to guarantee long-term performance. High-quality bearings and Grade 8.8 bolts are used throughout the machine to ensure operational safety and durability.
This configuration ensures reliable performance, long service life, and consistent production quality in demanding brick and roof tile manufacturing applications.
