Product Description
Appron Feeders for Light Loads and Applications
Steel apron belt systems provide an economical and efficient solution for the discharge of medium-capacity hoppers and stockpiles. They are particularly preferred in facilities requiring controlled and continuous material flow. With plate widths of up to 2,400 mm and capacities of up to 1,500 tons per hour, they cover a wide range of applications.
When integrated with a weighing system, the unit can perform discharge, weighing, and dosing operations within a single system. This integration simplifies process control and increases overall operational efficiency.
Maintenance-free, lifetime-lubricated carrier rollers minimize service requirements. The specially designed chain system ensures reliable and stable performance across a broad capacity range. Depending on project requirements, the system can be equipped with optional accessories such as a spillage conveyor and a lump breaker.
Heavy-Duty Apron Feeders
Heavy-duty apron feeders are designed to withstand high impact loads and harsh operating conditions. The drive shaft with hardened gears ensures long service life and reliable power transmission. Segments can be replaced without opening the chain, significantly reducing maintenance time.
All heavy-duty Caterpillar-type chains can be used to cover a wide capacity range. Chain carrier rollers are designed with plain bearings to withstand high impact loads. Support rollers are positioned beneath the return chains.
Depending on the material characteristics, aprons can be manufactured in flat form or curved form for sticky materials. Additionally, aprons can be produced with welded or cast plates upon request.
The heavy-duty frame structure consists of longitudinal main beams and transverse cross members that provide strong support for moving components. The drive unit is equipped with planetary or bevel-helical gearboxes from world-leading manufacturers. For operation in cold climates, drive units can be specially prepared to suit environmental conditions.
