Levent 4004

The LEVENT 4004 is an all-hydraulic diamond core drill rig equipped with a wide range of options and accessories. It consists of three main components: the drill unit, the power unit, and the control console. As an option, the drill unit can be mounted on specialized carriers, such as a narrow crawler for underground use or a wide crawler for surface operations. The rig is suitable for various drilling methods in both underground and surface applications, including core drilling, grout hole drilling, and probing. The drill unit can be powered either by an electric motor or a diesel engine. When equipped with the electrical power unit, an optional diesel engine is available for tramming. The LEVENT 4004 incorporates the latest technology in diamond core drilling. Tube jointing, thread breaking, feeding, wireline operations, and hoist sequences are all controlled from a control console, which can be positioned to suit the setup. Feeding is performed by a direct cylinder system, eliminating chains from the feed mechanism. The rig can be configured with two different feed lengths and two sizes of rotation units, allowing adaptation to various rod sizes and drilling applications. Considering the drill’s rotation speed, rating, and chuck diameter, the LEVENT 4004 is best suited for drilling holes with diameters of 60–96 mm (B–H), using either conventional or wireline rods. The spindle inner diameter of the H-size rotation unit is 101.6 mm (4 in).
