The company’s foundations date back to 1999, when founders Matteo Goich and Massimo Bertolucci combined their expertise. This initial collaboration led to the creation of Matec Machinery Technology in 2004, specialising in industrial filtration and purification solutions.Between 2005 and 2012, the company experienced steady growth, strengthening its market position and expanding its product and service portfolio. The year 2013 marked a significant turning point with the opening of the first subsidiary in the United States, initiating the company’s internationalisation process. In the following years, Matec expanded further by establishing new offices and branches in Australia, Brazil, and Turkey, positioning itself as a global leader. In 2021, the acquisition of Alfa Pompe, a historic company based in Verona, enabled the group to expand its production capacity and complete its manufacturing processes by incorporating new capabilities and technologies.
