MMMGD Professional Development Association of Mining Engineers was established in 2021 and is a professional non-governmental organization that supports the professional development of mining professionals, especially mining engineers, and naturally the construction of the mining industry in contemporary norms. For now, it continues its activities with bi-weekly online presentations, monthly technical trips, seminars given at universities, and mentoring for students and new engineers. It organized the 100 Years of Mining Symposium on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey on October 30, 2023, and will hold the International Post-Mining Activities Symposium in Zonguldak on 22-24 May 2024.
