DBC Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in 1991 as the exclusive distributor of Diamant Boart Craelius in Turkey. DBC is currently developing, producing and marketing drilling equipment for mining exploration, site investigation and ground engineering purposes. DBC is one of the three companies in the world producing The Total Core Drilling Technology . All kinds of machinery and equipment necessary for core drilling, from the diamond bits to the drill rigs, are produced by DBC. The products are exported to Sweden, Norway, Greece, Italy, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakistan, Iran, Maroc, Ghana, Canada, Mexico, Peru, etc. All design and production works are carried out by the latest computer-aided design and manufacturing ( CAD-CAM). The core drills are CE certified. Diamond drill bits are produced with the computerized and atmospheric controlled furnaces and marketed with FASTDRILL brand. DBC is also a pioneer to introduce plastic core boxes into the drilling industry to replace wooden or other types of core boxes. DBC is producing special PCD inserts and very advanced chain saw machines to be used in marble quarries. Several R&D projects are also supported by Tubitak (Turkish Scientific Research Institute) and DBC has many pending patent applications. The company is operating in its 12500 m2 factory in Dilovası- Kocaeli.
