Mining Turkey 2016 Gathered Under a Single Roof all the Partners of Mining Industry
Organization in collaboration with the Turkish Mining Development Foundation, International Mining, Tunneling, Machinery Equipment and Heavy Duty Vehicles Fair accrued 7th times, with the participation of all the side of mining industry.The most comprehensive fair held in Eurasian geography of the industry, Mining Turkey Fair 2016 hosted 392 exhibitor companies from 34 countries with national attendances by China, Germany and the Czech Republic. Mining Turkey Fair hosted 9.472 professional visitors including 563 foreign visitors from 47 countries, 8.909 domestic visitors.
While Mining Turkey Fair, the procurement committee are hosted from Albania, France, Georgia, Greece and Islamic Republic of Iran. Exhibitors found an opportunity to present their products and services to the industry professionals and collaborate with them through the mutual discussions organized this year, like 2015.
The panel discussion related “How to Develop Mining in Turkey?” became fact under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Güven Önal and with the participation of General Manager of General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration Cengiz Erdem, Chairman of Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters’ Association Ali Kahyaoğlu, CEO of Minertolia Consultancy Dr. Selahaddin Anaç and Dündar Ergunalp within the fair activities at Mining Turkey Fair. Topics of panel discussion was mine accidents, contribution of the mining sector to the national economy, government policies, inducements, mining projects, occupational health and safety, mining and environment.
While Mining Turkey 2016 Fair, trainings provided about ATEX (Explosive Atmospheres) and Ex-proof Equipment for ATEX, Hazard Detection in Underground Mines, Accidents, Ventilation, Mining Accidents, Firedamp and Gas Explosion, Emergency Management at Mines, Unknown Heroes of Gallipoli Campaign – Miners (Underground Wars), Work Permit Systems at Mines, Mine Health and Safety Plans, Legal Consequences and Supreme Court Decision Examples of Mining Accidents within “Occupational Health and Safety at Mines Seminar” program. The topic of Mining and Environment discussed at the seminar provided by Prof. Dr. Orhan Kural.
Mining Turkey Fair was a meeting point which is evaluated the daytime, determined the future, by coming together all the side who is interested in mine and mining. The fair contribute to come together Mining Industry, one of the most important sector of Turkey. Every passing year, the fair will continue to contribute to development of the Turkish Mining Sector, extensionally.
